Booking terms

These terms cover every La Última setup in Mexico City. Booking with us means you accept them. Questions go to hola@laultimabach.com.

How booking works

1. You send your dates and your package. Nothing to pay yet.
2. We confirm access with your Airbnb host, in Spanish, and reply with what's open.
3. You confirm, and a 25% deposit holds your date.
4. The balance is due 14 days before check-in. Booking inside those 14 days, you pay in full when you book.

Each guest can pay their own share by link. Your date is confirmed when the deposit arrives, and we send you a written confirmation with your package, your dates and the total.

Prices

• Prices are in US dollars and include Mexico's 16% IVA.
• Package prices cover up to 10 guests. Larger groups add the per-guest amount shown on the site.
• Drinks and groceries are not part of the package price. You pay the store directly, at cost.
• Add-ons marked "Ask us" are quoted before you book them.

Access to your Airbnb

We set up only with your host's permission, and we confirm it before you pay anything. If your host withdraws access after you've paid and we can't set up during your stay, we refund everything you paid us.

Changes and cancellations

• 30 days or more before check-in: we refund your deposit in full.
• 14 to 29 days before check-in: your deposit stays with us, since your custom pieces are in the works. You can move it once to new dates within 12 months.
• Less than 14 days before check-in: payments are not refundable, because your banner, bags and orders are already made. Ask us about new dates and we'll do what we can.
• Changing the package, the group size or the colors is free up to 14 days before check-in, plus any price difference.
• If we ever have to cancel, you get back everything you paid us.

Late flights and short stays

The setup is ready by check-in whether you land on time or not. If your trip gets shorter, the price stays the same.

The Airbnb and the decor

We use damage-free methods: no tape on paint, no confetti, no glitter. We take everything down at checkout, and takedown is included. Rented pieces such as frames and stands stay ours. If one breaks during your stay, we charge its replacement cost. Damage the group causes to the apartment is between you and your host.

Alcohol

We stock drinks only for guests of legal drinking age in Mexico, which is 18. Take it slow on night one: Mexico City sits at 2,240 meters.

Photos of the setup

We may photograph the finished setup to show future guests. Your group appears only if you say yes. Tell us if you'd rather we skip the photos, and we will.

Vendors we book for you

For add-ons such as a private chef, a photographer or a trajinera, we book local vendors on your behalf. Their own terms apply to their service, and we tell you anything that matters before you pay.

Our responsibility

We answer for the setup we deliver. Our total responsibility for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing here limits your rights under Mexico's consumer protection law (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute goes to the competent courts of Mexico City, without affecting your right to go to PROFECO.
